Directions:
1. Make sure children/adult clients understand the idea of breathing in and out.
2. Have students/clients listen to this song several times when they are calm so they associate this song with relaxation.
3. When emotions are just starting to escalate, play the song and breathe with them.
4. If student/client is feeling more extreme emotions, gauge their willingness to use the song. If you start to play the song and they are resistant to breathing with it, wait a few minutes and try again.
