Making precise angled cuts on 6x6 (and larger) posts. In this video I make a clean angled cut on a 6x6 newel post using a reciprocating saw and a couple of cheap ($5-10) homemade brackets.

There aren't many 15" miter saws out there, and a 12" cannot handle this big of a post at an angle.

This method easily scales to larger posts.
