This was my very first trip onboard a new generation train in Britain since i moved to Britain a few years ago. The ride itself was made on the 11th of August 2019, but some evening captures were made some days before and after. Unit 195 119 arrived at Manchester Piccadilly from the Lake District, as initially is the only service operated by this units on Sundays, as far as i know, but on working days and "Saturdays?" The launch route to Liverpool Lime street via Warrington Central and Blackpool North all originate from Manchester Airport train station. Glad with the comfort and quiet journey experience and can't wait to the next rides as i already made some more, but never tried the 160kmph speed performance on West Coast Mainline, that should be very nice. Despite my airport journey was facing a few speed restrictions on a busy Sunday, it made possible to listen the engine accelerating and reducing speed along the airport line.
