It is Day 6 and your core may already be feeling quite tight from the previous 5 days. If at this point you need to take a break and re-visit the challenge tomorrow - please do so x

Today, I have included a standing ab exercise. This will help to Strengthen the Psoas Muscle. The psoas muscle is responsible for pulling our lumbar spine both forward and down. It is also essential in helping us walk!
In the quest to developing abs that have solid lasting definition it is important to strengthen its relationship with all the surrounding muscles.
Pair today's challenge with one of our lower body workouts.

Why the 11 Line Abs Challenge?

So I get asked on Instagram every single day about my abs and how I train them. I am a big believer in compound movements as they constantly help to keep my core engaged and when the muscles surrounding your abdominal wall are stronger it becomes a lot easier to increase your overall strength and stability.
However, smaller focused movements like the exercises I have put in this challenge are great for building targeted ab strength, endurance and muscle tone. These are the exercises that are partly responsible for my shape!

PLEASE NOTE: For your abs to be visible your body fat needs to be lower (for women: 16-19% and for men: 6-10%).
