For decades, scientists have been looking for a link between genetics and sexual orientation. A new study came up short in their search for “gay genes”, concluding that there’s (still) no single “gay” gene but instead 5 genetic variants. The study went on to state that genetics are complicated, and social and environmental factors are also key in someone manifesting same-sex sexual behavior.
