Our Solution to the Last Mile Problem in Data Science: Implementing an Unsupervised Machine Learning Model in Python:
We present an end to end Python tutorial based on our experience conceptualizing and implementing a clustering model for personalization. The workshop will be accessible to beginners and include code for ingesting publicly available county health data and training the model, while also covering how data scientists can test, persist and deploy models. We will discuss common reasons analytics models fail to be utilized, and how to address those issues from technical and non-technical standpoints.
