This video is important to understand the induction process for CA, ACCA and other accountancy Students who are interested in induction of Audit Firms.
Basically there are EY, KPMG and PWC firms in which most students are willing and work and get training required by ICAP (CA Pakistan).
Induction Process starts after CA inter.
Process involves :
1. Submission of induction forms in AUDiT firms,
2. Aptitude Test,
3. Calling to students who passed Test,
4. Interview 1 (by HR department)
5. Interview 2 (by HR manager+Relevant department manager,
6. Interview 3 (by Partner)
These processes involves in induction in Normal cases, but most students with reference based remain priority of firms while induction which is very alarming draw back in this process.
Suggestions:
1. ICAP should conduct test,
2. ICAP should interview the students,
3. ICAP should allotte firms to trainees with an intention to raise the standards of firms other than Big 4 firms,
4. ICAP should monitor all trainee related matters with great intention.
5. All firms should be treated equally.
