A new illegal drug is posing a danger for its users. Minister of National Security Stuart Young says investigations are underway into the drug labelled "The Zesser Pill". Promoted by posts on social media, Minister Young issued a statement expressing concern about the recent information circulating on the availability of the drug.
Minister Young noted that the drug is causing severe adverse physical and mental reactions in users. He said the chemical composition of the drug has not yet been verified by the Trinidad and Tobago Forensic Science Centre.
The Ministry of National Security continues to urge the public to avoid the use of any substances with psychoactive properties, in the interest of their health, safety and wellbeing.
