In this video, Nash Jocic talks about the aesthetic contemplation of beautiful and sublime in Schopenhauer's Philosophy of Art. As The Will objectifies first in the ideas from which individual objects further get objectified, genius has an ability to contemplate ideas and then to present them in its artistic medium (sculpture, painting, poem). We then can aesthetically contemplate the ideas via the products of art that genius has created and liberate ourselves from our individuation, hence suffering.
