I was planning to try meals at Kanthari Restaurant, but when the aroma of Biriyani hit my nostrils, I changed my plans and decided to try Biriyani, Paal Kappa, and Thilappichha meen. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഊണ് ട്രൈ ചെയ്യാം എന്ന് കരുതിയാണ് കാന്താരി റെസ്റ്റോറന്റിൽ പോയതെങ്കിലും അവിടെ ചെന്ന് ബിരിയാണിയുടെ ദം പൊട്ടിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോഴേയ്ക്കും എന്റെ എല്ലാ കണ്ട്രോളും വിട്ടു. എന്നാൽ പിന്നെ ബിരിയാണി ആവാം അല്ലെ... കൂടെ പാൽ കപ്പയും.

Kanthari Restaurant is currently (we visited this place on 08 Oct 2019) the best restaurant that offers good food in a decent ambience. We tried Paal Kappa (a local variant of cassava cooked in coconut milk), Changanassery biriyani, meen thilappichathu (fish cooked in shallots and red pepper), and Thai grilled chicken (a starter). My friend Able tried erachi puttu which they call as Puttu nirachathu - Beef.
