The OCPD’s new webinar series: “Identity at Work” –aims to support individuals navigating multiple identities and how it impacts and interacts with their career search and professional development. The Office of Career & Professional Development at the University of Redlands is here to support and empower all students and alumni. In order to do this well, we seek to provide an environment that is inclusive, accessible, equitable, and welcoming to members of all communities and identity groups. We believe that every single person in our community has value, and their voice deserves to be heard. We also hope by hosting these webinars, we are building an inclusive culture with diverse perspectives. We understand that identities are intersecting and not binary – so while these programs are not exhaustive of every experience, we hope they provide some support.
For this webinar specifically: Tune in to hear from this panel of experts who focus specifically on how to navigate the job search process as an individual with a disability. Topics like when and how do I disclose a disability, how do I seek accommodations, how do I gain support: are all questions that will be discussed on the webinar.
