Winter Mountaineering in Slovenia | Jugova grapa | Dovški križ

Winter Mountaineering in Slovenia, Gozd Martuljek part of the Julian Alps. Attempt to climb Dovški križ via Jugova Grapa (couloir).
We have not reached the summit due to unstable snow conditions found on the east face of the mountain. The couloir climbed is west facing and was safe to climb. Later in the afternoon we saw a couple of small avalanches.

Route is 500m long with a small mixed part (grade I/II), averaging at 45 degree slope.
