Life goes by slowly in the Texas suburbs, and Conan Gray captured the doldrums of his high school senior year in his first Indie song, "Idle Town." When the video hit his YouTube channel, it resonated deeply; after two and a half years, it's closing in on 15M views. The craft and catchiness of Gray’s music is central to his broad skill set. Gray said that once he began writing songs and sharing them with the world, he just wanted to do it more and more. After connecting with an LA producer and refining that craft, "Generation Why" and "Crush Culture" solidified a sturdy career path. Long story short? Conan Gray is going places. While enjoying a parade of positive press, he's opened for Panic! At the Disco and made a splash at the UK’s The Great Escape festival. The videos for "Maniac" and "Comfort Crowd" also prove Gray isn’t shy in front of a camera - flaunting a natural charisma is his strong suit. He performed both of those tracks in our Brooklyn studio, and fans are gonna love 'em.
