Today I would like to fill in the blanks for this verse with everyone. Verse of the day:
1 Samuel 23:26-27
Saul and David were now on opposite sides of a mountain. ___ __ Saul and his men began to close in on David and his men, an urgent message reached Saul that the Philistines were raiding Israel again.
Beloved, today I would like to share my revelation of a tiny part of the story of Saul and David with you. The background is, King Saul was jealous of David earning popularity in the land as his greatest general. David won wars for Saul in such style that the people sang songs like ‘Saul has killed his thousands, and David his ten thousands’
This caused jealousy in the heart of Saul. He worried that David would one day be made king in place of him. The favour of God upon David made him successful in everything he did, and it resulted in Saul deciding to kill David. Ironically, the wisdom and favour and anointing of the Lord seems to have put David in trouble isn’t it? But the ending of this video will show you God doesn’t put you through trials you cannot bear. He is always there for you!
