A Contemporary Learning Model for Higher Education: FRIYAY | Arjun Singar (Pundit Singri) | TEDxRVCE A master's graduate from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan; now the co-founder of a CBSE school: CREAA Academy for Learning, a member of PES, Mandya & an assistant professor from RVCE; is currently pursuing his PhD at IISc in the field of educational psychology & strategy. You might have even seen him in an advertisement, a short film, a Kannada feature film or in several plays. He is also a passionate speaker who has delivered talks at universities in Germany, Japan & at the United Nations Youth Assembly. And very recently, he has founded a contemporary learning model for higher education named FRIYAY.

This model aims at revolutionalizing the entire higher educational system by shifting the focus from rote based learning to activity based learning through project based learning & experiential learning. The core belief of this model is to have an equal weightage of assessment on the examination & activities. This is achieved by having a 4 day working week & Friday being a fun filled project day to ensure outcome based education.
