Artist Sells Pieces Made From 100% Lipstick

Alexis Fraser from Sarasota, Florida is a contemporary artist using an unusual and expensive medium. More popularly known as Lipstick Lex, Fraser applies lipstick then kisses her canvas to create a portrait made of layered pucker marks. After pushing through lip cramps, the kissing artist adds the fine details to her work using stencils and makeup brushes. But don’t worry, her art won’t smear — she applies a thick layer of epoxy resin to polish off each piece.
