Assumption and Indicators

Assumption and Indicators This group of cyclists made an assumption that because they didn't see the indicator on my mirror or the hand signal I made on the approach to this roundabout, thought I was going straight on.

Firstly, Recumbents are incredibly difficult to ride.Using hand signals while cornering is not always possible. Hence the indicators.

Secondly, wouldn't any cyclist that hopes for a long life always assume 'worst case scenario' if confronted by another road user whose intentions aren't clear?...

I've since had a chat with a couple of them and have also agreed to fit better indicators! ACTIONED!

Ironically, I heard calls of 'where's your indicators' as I left the scene!

UPDATE: on reviewing this footage, it became apparent to me that the riders weren't even looking in my direction before entering the roundabout.
IF YOU DON'T LOOK - YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SEE!!!
