I've been using Birth Control for 6 months to try and get rid of my acne... I also forgot to mention this in the video but since I've been on birth control my back and chest haven't broken out as much! They still get breakouts but not nearly as badly as they used to. I feel like I was a bit confusing in the video but just to clear things up, I DO think taking birth control has helped my skin. However, I still get breakouts so it hasn't completely cleared my skin and it doesn't keep it clear. I think my skincare has a lot to do with the condition of my skin. If I'm using skincare that doesn't agree with my skin, my skin is going to let me know and the birth control can't do anything to prevent that lol. So that's what I mean when I say that the birth control isn't a miracle worker. I feel like it prevents some breakouts, but it doesn't prevent all of them. I am still going to continue to stay on the pill because there are improvements in my skin and in my periods. Its all about progress, not perfection❤️ My current skincare routine is also helping my skin a lot so far! (I've been using it for about 3 weeks) Here is the link to the video if you're interested in the products I use!
