She said that she met with a lot of women police officers during the research process of the film. “Numerous films have been made on male police officers in our film industry and they are portrayed in larger than life roles. I think Mardaani 2 an effort to show women officers in the bravest light because I think they truly deserve to be in the mainstream and in focus.”
