Sister highlighted this year the Montgomery Area Food Bank which is the primary food source for those in need for more than half the state of Alabama. This food bank is special to Sister as it was the first food bank that she delivered any pans of her rolls that were left over after baking / packaging / selling to her first clients more than 30 years ago. At that time, she often took only a few small pans. Today, Sister Schubert's is one of the main sustaining benefactors providing donations of trucks filled with bread each year.
