Rakesh Mishra received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He co-founded Uhana (recently acquired by VMware) to commercialise his Stanford research on an observe-predict-control platform that brings the power of big data analytics, machine learning and cloud computing to mobile networks and mobile applications. Prior to Stanford, Rakesh received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Communication Engineer from IIT Madras. Currently Rakesh is a Staff Engineer 2 at VMware, responsible for advancing the capabilities of Uhana’s observe-predict-control platform for mobile networks and mobile applications, and gaining traction with existing and new customers.
