Shaykh Faid attended a discussion panel with medical experts organised by Identity International. The panel discussed the scientific contribution by Muslim scholars in the medical world and a variety of other topics.

Shaykh Faid spoke about the great scholars of the Muslim world from the past, Shaykh Faid explained that people were not only coming to them just for religion but also other sciences and gave the example of Ibn Rushd. He was a scholar, philosopher and a doctor. The motive or understanding behind the scholars of such calibre was the saying of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) “The best of mankind is the one that is benefit of others.”

There was also a Q&A session where the audience was given the opportunity to ask questions to the panel.
