What's it Like to Prep for A Colonoscopy? On the day before Thanksgiving!

What's it Like to Prep for A Colonoscopy? On the day before Thanksgiving! In this documentary of sorts, I tried to capture a personal experience preparing for the oftentimes dreaded colonoscopy screening procedure. I tried to portray the prep, what it entails, specific to what I could and couldn't eat prior to the medical experience, interpreting the instructions, which often conflicted, and the actual preparation of the laxative formula. I provide a perspective on that as well as what happens physically, without going too far into the details. I am hoping that by sharing my experience, this video will encourage you to follow your doctor's orders and get screened yourself, once you reach the recommended age - typically 50 - for both men and women. Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death. This is of particular importance if you happen to have a family history of colorectal cancer. The video is long, but hopefully will offer perspective of what your prep might entail. Thanks for passing by and having a look.
