3 delicious recipes to forget the usual meatballs! 1) Baked meatballs and potatoes

 

INGREDIENTS • 10 small potatoes • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil • Salt • Paprika flakes • 1 tsp paprika • Black pepper • 1 tsp thyme

 

For minced meat: • 500g ground meat • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs • 1 onion chopped • Salt and pepper • 20ml water   METHOD



Sliced potatoes. Add all ingredients. Stir, bake for 25 minutes at 200C/400F.

Add the breadcrumbs, salt, onion, water to the minced meat. Mix. Roll balls of minced meat. Put balls on potatoes. Bake for 20 minutes at 200C/400F.

2) Cauliflower meatballs

 

INGREDIENTS • 1 medium cauliflower • 2 eggs • ½ cup flour • ½ cup breadcrumbs • ½ cup crushed cornflakes • 1 cup grated cheese • 1 onion • A pinch of parsley  salt  chili  caraway seeds  ground pepper   METHOD



Divide the cabbage into inflorescences, put in a pan and pour water.

Add salt. Cook until tender. Mash the cabbage and remove the liquid.

Add in cabbage puree add eggs, crushed cornflakes, flour, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, chopped parsley, chopped onions and spices. Form balls. Fry in vegetable oil in a pan.

3) Potato and salmon balls

 

INGREDIENTS  2 tbsp Flour  1 cup cooked salmon  Vegetable oil  3 potatoes  Black pepper  1 tablespoon parsley  Salt  1 yolk  1 cup breadcrumbs   METHOD



Cook the potatoes, let them cool and grate in the bowl.

Mix the potatoes with the yolk, flour, parsley, salt and pepper.

Add salmon and mix.

Form balls and roll them in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil and serve.
