'Let down the Scottish people time and again!' Sajid Javid shames SNP in Commons row

MP Alison Thewliss (SNP) was stunned when her attempt to attack the UK Government was thwarted by Sajid Javid who told Parliament that her party’s policies were the ones that had “let down the Scottish people time and time again”.

Alison Thewliss accused the UK Government of “pessimism and uncertainty” surrounding Brexit.

She demanded that Chancellor Sajid Javid apologised for the lack of information in the budget surrounding Scotland.

However, the Tory minister refused to back down, and hit out at the opposition party for their own policies.
