President Museveni calls for emphasis on Sciences in Universities

President Museveni has again criticized some public Universities for continuing to emphasize humanity courses despite his constant appeal to promote science education. The President who was speaking this afternoon at the 15th graduation ceremony of Gulu University noted that with unemployment still being a major challenge for the youth in the country, it is important for public Universities to pay more attention to science education to meet the current needs of the society.
