CTOC Calls For Stringent Fines For Merchants Who Import Fake Goods | News | CVMTV The police's Counter-Terrorism Organized Crime (CTOC ) Investigative Branch is calling for more teeth in the law for businesses found in breach of the intellectual property rights for the sale of counterfeit goods.
CTOC carried out operations at a store in Montego Bay on Thursday, February 20, seizing approximately seven million dollars in fake goods and just last week, it seized five million dollars in fake shoes, but the organization is calling for MOE stringent fines.
