Dramatic Footage of Private Jet in Flames Skidding Across Runaway

Two people luckily escaped injury after a plane they were travelling on malfunctioned and skidded on its belly across an airport runway.

The private jet burst into flames and sparks shot out from the fuselage as the aircraft hurtled down the runway after its landing gear failed to engage.

The dramatic footage was captured moments after the non-commercial flight attempted to land at Daytona Beach International Airport on February 20 at around 12:25PM.

The airport later tweeted nobody was injured during the incident.
