The Fast and Furious franchise has been going on for over a decade now, and it just keeps getting bigger and more outrageous. And that’s exactly what we love about it. When the trailer for the new Fast and Furious Nine dropped during the Superbowl, fans everywhere were super impressed by its insane looking stunts and classic FF drama. But aside from a few major surprises, like the return of Han and the introduction of John Cena as Dom’s brother, the trailer raised even more questions than it did answers. And now we can’t wait to see the movie, just to find out the answers to our most burning inquiries.
Since the Fast and Furious movies have spanned over nine sequels with a few spinoffs in between, the universe that the movie takes place in is growing about as complicated and complex as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And they go into space! So much has happened over the years with the FF crew, and even more in the years in between movies. There is a five-or-so gap between the last movie and Fast 9, which leaves a whole lot of questions about what has happened in the meantime. And of course, there’s a ton of mystery surrounding what exactly happened with Han, and how he is back at all! We have to wonder just why John Cena’s character hates his brother so much, or if they are even related to begin with.
