"The energy consumption related to Digital has been growing at 9% a year and could have a double-digit growth in the coming years. This results in a trend of GHG emissions which is incompatible with what is required to limit global warming to 2 degrees. Whereas this has been happening despite huge energy efficiency gains, the focus should then turn onto our consumption habits and the business models that support these behaviours in order to come up with sustainable scenarios."
