My Opinion of Gayle King’s Lisa Leslie Interview

Like so many people, I was shocked by the news of Kobe Bryant's death. Like so many people I was devastated that his daughter and 7 additional people died. Amongst my friend circle we've cried, shared, talked and listened. As I was discussing my position on Gayle King's interview with Lisa Leslie my friend stated she hadn't considered that perspective and asked me to consider sharing it.

Here goes it.

Personally, I've experienced my sister's death covered on the news.
As a radio personality I have asked the tough questions.
I've also been sued by rapper Trae the Truth and dragged on social media by his fans.

Based on personally experiencing all 3 points of view, in the video I discuss why I believe Gayle King asking Lisa Leslie about Kobe Bryant's "complicated" legacy was helpful not hurtful.
