Original owners of Akosombo Dam land agitate over years of neglect | Citi Newsroom

The chiefs and people of Adjina, the original owners of the land that sits the Akosombo dam say they have been shortchanged by successive governments.

Nearly sixty years since they were relocated to their present site to make way for the construction of the dam, the residents claim the quality of their lives has deteriorated while their tenants at Akosombo enjoy better social amenities.
