Premiers travel to Washington to herald new era in cross-border trade A delegation of premiers including Saskatchewan's Scott Moe, Jason Kenney from Alberta, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs is in Washington for meetings with U.S. counterparts as the NAFTA era slowly comes to an end. With the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement nearing ratification in the House of Commons, the leaders are meeting with state governors to talk about shared trade and investment priorities in advance of the deal coming into force.
