Sam Raimi is a GREAT choice for Doctor Strange 2 - Hyper Heroes

Variety has reported that director Sam Raimi is in talks with Marvel Studios to take over directing duties on "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". The film, set to release in May 2021, was originally set to be directed by Scott Derrickson. The former director cited creative differences were responsible for his departure. Sam Riami is most famously known to comic book fans as the director that brought Spider-Man to life in 2002, 2004 and 2007. His extensive work in horror with films like The Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Darkman and Drag Me to Hell might make him the perfect candidate to take over this series.
