Street fairy An app that connects people who want to help the homeless and allows the homeless to speak up for things they need
1.To create a social network of individuals who would like to help the homeless.
For example, if a restaurant owner has leftover food on a daily basis that he/she would like to donate but does not have the time or know where to donate, the Street Fairy app will direct him to a "Delivery Fairy" who can pick up the food and deliver it to those in need.
2. To create profiles of homeless individuals, so that Fairies know where to find them, and so that these individuals can ask for help and tell their stories.
One of the Fairy roles is the "Profile Fairy". Profile Fairies find homeless individuals and set up profiles for them on the Street Fairy app. The profiles include the homeless individual's personal details and needs; the individual is provided with the log-in information so that he/she can edit his/her own profile (if possible). The Profile Fairies also help homeless individuals submit requests and add posts to their pages, so that they will have more Fairy followers.
3. To provide a platform for homeless individuals to apply for jobs and be introduced to potential employers.
There are many people who live on the street who truly want to work and are able to do so, but many of them have lost faith in their capabilities. Street Fairies will offer to connect these individuals to potential employers who desire to offer them an opportunity to build a better life.courtesy:
