'The Canberra bubble never disappoints'

'The Canberra bubble never disappoints' Sky News host Peter Gleeson says there is “never a dull moment in the Canberra bubble” following the confirmation former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce will stand for Nationals leadership on Tuesday in Canberra.

The incumbent, Michael McCormack, is also expected to run for leader when the position is spilled on Tuesday.

The meeting on Tuesday was originally scheduled to fill the role of deputy leader, which is vacant due to Senator Bridget McKenzie’s resignation after she was found to have breached ministerial standards.

Sky News contributor Scott Emerson said, “clearly even if McCormack survives tomorrow, you can’t see him surviving very long after that".
