Two public works employee were lucky to be uninjured when their KUBOTA they were using to plow the skating ice on the canel broke through and became submerged. The employees were able to get out without incident. Emergency crews did not respond, Dave’s Towing was called in and was able to remove the KUBOTA shortly after. This caused a large hole to open up in the middle of the canel, it’s not know how this will affect the ice skating season, which has been red flagged so far this year.
