Chief Executive Director of the People’s Association, Desmond Tan, elaborated on the 14-day suspension for all senior-centric activities. He shared 3 measures that will be implemented for unaffected programmes that continue to run, such as reducing the number of participants in each class, modifying the class to minimise participant contact and reducing the duration of activities to reduce exposure between participants. He was speaking at the Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s press conference on 10 March 2020.
