4 Km Wide Asteroid Approaching Earth!

Asteroid 1998 OR2 was discovered in 1987. It is a 'Potentially Hazardous' asteroid with a diameter of roughly 4 kilometers. With a speed of 8.7 kilometers per second this asteroid is hurling towards us. There is 1 in 50,000 chance of such asteroid hitting our planet at every 100 years.

If asteroid like 1998 OR2 hits the Earth it could potentially end the human race. Luckily on 29th of April this year 1998 OR2 will make close approach to Earth and miss Earth by just 3.9 million miles.
