The Daily Telegraph’s Jonathon Moran says Harry and Meghan “can’t wait to get out of the UK and back to Canada”. Harry and Meghan have appeared in public together in the UK for the first time since they announced they would quit royal duties and make a new life for themselves in Canada.
The pair turned out for an awards ceremony in London for their final series of royal engagements.
Mr Moran told Sky News “some people are happy they are leaving, others aren’t with people booing at this occasion when they got out of the car”.
He also said their departure from the royal family is “ugly” and blames both Harry and Meghan for the decision.
