How dance can liberate us? | Kieran Crowe | TEDxNewtown

How dance can liberate us? | Kieran Crowe | TEDxNewtown Stemming from an existential crisis, Kieran attempts to explore what his role as a hip hop dance in society may be. Doctors heal, and teachers educate. However, does he play an important role in society too? Does he bring value and create a positive impact in the world? Join Kieran to find out the answer. Kieran Crowe is a choreographer/dancer who marked the start of his career on Australia’s Got Talent in 2011 as a grand finalist with Instant Bun. Kieran aspires to alter what it means to perform to a crowd as well as recognise the role of the performer to liberate themselves on stage as well as the audience, from everyday suffering. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
