As a frequent used or second hand gear shopper, I've always found Amazon Warehouse to be quite reliable. However, there are a few horror stories out there about people getting scammed. How it goes is someone would buy the item brand new from Amazon but returns the original box with another item that is similar but way lesser value to bypass the return process. Typically then, the item would still be sold but under Amazon Warehouse with a discounted price. Whoever will buy the item now will think they are getting what they ordered but once they open the box, they will be disappointed to find the item was completely swapped. This time around, I bought a used Sony a7R IV, (normally a $3500 brand new) with an extra 20% discount that saved me around $1000. Thankfully, the said camera was what's in the box!
