Apart from the cleanliness, the service is incredibly bad. You would expect some sort of understanding if you got robbed of all belongings and arrive st midnight at the hotel you had a reservation - a 5 star hotel - only to be kicked out into the cold night because of a formality - the credit card used for booking (made by the company) is not on your name.
Apart from bad service it really shows a lack of respect. I would bet that any other 3 star hotel would have helped out, but Iberostar Lisboa in Lisbon has its own ways of dealing with its clients - throwing them out.
The worst is that it was not the poor people at the reception who made the decision but the hotel manager herself, Benitita Pinto, who ordered her employees to do the dirty job...
I would rate Iberostar Lisboa to be the worst 5 star hotel in the world, but what do you think?
