An Indian monk has been wearing a massive crown weighing 77 lbs made of 1,02,000 'Rudrakasha beads' to attain magical powers from God.

Mahant Gitanand Giri, 40, lives in Jhajjar in Haryana in northern India.

The Hindu monk who weighs only 88lbs has pledged to wear a crown made of 1,25,000 beads--the fruits of a tree used primarily in Hinduism and Buddhism for mediation.

His crown is made of wooden sticks and iron rings where he adds two new Rudrakasha beads every morning. The monk has pledged to keep adding the garlands until he achieves his target and wear it until next 12 years to please Gods and attain magical powers.
