Qld Labor ‘has proven it is not fit to govern’

Qld Labor ‘has proven it is not fit to govern’ Sky News host Peter Gleeson says whether it relates to dams, mining, construction, debt unemployment or the justice system, “the arrogance and downright sanctimony of the Palasazczuk government in Queensland knows no bounds”.

Mr Gleeson said, “it is clear that the Left faction of the Labor Party has hijacked youth justice laws in Queensland and that’s why there is a crime crisis”.

His comments come as a spike in crime rates have been reported in some Queensland regions.

Townsville has been particularly hard hit by an increase in crime, with 35,000 criminal offences recorded in 2019 and 621 break-ins recorded in February 2020 alone.

“The unprecedented spike in crime has resulted in crime action groups popping up everywhere in Queensland, to the point where Labor now realises it could cost them votes at the next election,” he said.

“Whether it’s vegetation management laws, no dams, stopping mining, unions running rampant on construction sites, thousands of extra public servants adding to the state debt, high unemployment, integrity scandals at the highest levels (or) crime problems,” Mr Gleeson said.

“You name it, this government has proven it is not fit to govern”.
