Story explanation: Asher was kidnapped and experimented on by Professor Grallen, an evil scientist working for the Devil Queen. Asher was given a demon that began to slowly take control of him. Under its influence, Asher was sent to kidnap the Vessel. When he went to the house, the Vessel is revealed to be Mira, who, having been in Asher’s shoes, offers him a place to stay. Over the course of a few days, Asher begins to be fully possessed by his demon, but Mira stays supportive. Just before he is fully possessed, Professor G appears and takes Mira and her daughter Gracie, leaving Asher behind to be fully possessed. However, the demon side of Asher and Asher himself have both grown to care for Mira, and this unites them. They merge into Dark Asher, who tracks down the Professor and his captives and kills him. As he begins to succumb to his possession and lose all control, Mira kisses him, and the act of love sends the darkness into a passive state. He moves in with Mira, and she begins to train him to control his demon. Meanwhile, Devil Queen prepares to send Yume, Mira’s former tormentor, to take the vessel herself.
