E-commerce firms told to file FDI compliance report by Sept each year

The government has told foreign-funded e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart to file a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy compliance report by September-end each year. The notification states that the firms have to obtain a report of statutory auditor by September for the preceding financial year.
