Amendments to Alberta’s Licensed Practical Nurse Regulation are effective February 1, 2020 and include changes and clarification to register categories, restricted activities, and advanced authorizations. Changes are meant to improve efficiencies in healthcare for Albertans by allowing LPNs to practice to the full scope of their education.
