What Women Crave: Acknowledge the Places Where You Drop It

What Women Crave: Acknowledge the Places Where You Drop It In this video from the August 2019 Embodied Men's Leadership Training and Embodied Women's Relationship Immersion Combined Intensive in Santa Monica CA, John describes one way a masculine partner can become more conscious in your relationship.

You can do this by bringing awareness to the places where you drop consciousness, and thanking your feminine partner for holding you to a standard of consciousness that makes you a deeper masculine partner. Most masculine partners habitually withdraw from their partner's feedback, but acknowledging where they are right, and thanking them for it, can actually create more intimacy in the moment.

At the same time, you should not stand for your partner's closure, so even if your partner is right, that does not mean that they should close their heart from you. Therefore, if their feedback comes with closure, then be a stand for their open heart.

We all have "good reason" to be mad at each other's habitual closure or lack of consciousness. Rather than react out of anger, try to suspend your relationship's history to show up to your partner with greater awareness of where they are right while still being a stand for their open heart.
