If Earth Was Flat, The Sun's Apparent Size Would Change Significantly

If Earth Was Flat, The Sun's Apparent Size Would Change Significantly This animation shows what the angular size of a close, local, and small sun would look like on a flat Earth as it moves throughout the day. We know the Earth is a globe. The reason the sun's apparent size does not change throughout the day is due to perspective and the fact that the sun is 93 million miles away and 865000 miles across i.e. large and far away. A large and faraway object will not change apparent size when compared to a small and close object.
